19th Century metamorphic Syrian writing table, the duel hinged top lifting up and folding over to reveal the rising writing desk top to reveal a green baize writing surface, various drawers and compartments, the whole table is profusely inlaid all over with highly decorative inlay, decorative coloured shapes, and all in excellent condition, a single frieze drawer at the front and supported on square tapering legs united by rear and side stretchers. Circa 1860.
