Antique 19C Victorian mahogany (we think, but are not sure) twin pedestal desk, dressing or writing table.

Wonderful desk, with a great warm colour, age and patina.

The top has been repolished at some point historically but has still retained its age and character. There are some historical scratches that have been filled and polished over, that are not very noticable and add to the charm.

Solid with no loose joints and the drawers slide smoothly.

Lovely glass handles and six concealed brass castors.

This piece of antique furniture would look great in the right location.

Good size and proportions.

Overall dimensions 1150mmW x 510mmD x 750mmH (plus 40mmH upstand).

Knee hole 585mmH x 340mmW(max).

There are some historic knocks, marks, repairs and alterations, as should be expected with antique furniture.
