We are offering this portrait oil on board by the artist who has signed the painting indistinctly in the lower right hand corner. Our best guess is that it says Clealand. On the reverse of the painting is written October 24th, 1964. The portrait depicts a young girl, probably in her teenage years, who has her light brown hair in a ponytail tied with a pink bow. She is wearing a cream blouse under either a brown tank top or pinafore dress. We say that she is in her teens, as she appears to be wearing eye make up.

If the artist is called Clealand, we have been unable to find any biographical information on him or her.

The painting has been newly framed in a 2 1/4" reeded stone coloured frame. It will be supplied wired and ready to hang.

Medium: Oils on board

Condition: Very good. The surface is clean and there is no craquelure or missing paint. The frame is new.
