1960s Polaris pocket watch and chain.
The watch has a 17-jewel stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is a PUW 360, a 17-jewel German movement which was in production from 1963 until 1969. The movement is also stamped DBGM for Deutsches Bundes-Gebrauchsmuster, German Federal Registered Design which dates it to 1949 onwards.
The watch measures 42mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition, just light surface marks to the back.
The acrylic lens is in nice condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and seconds sweep.
The watch comes with a single chain, 34.5cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
