1950's Powder Compact with Lucite Lid
A super 1950's unsigned powder compact with a lucite topped lid. This pretty little compact features a mother of pearl swirl lucite lid with black leaf design which contrasts with lines of sparkling gold elevating this little compact into something rather special. Inside there is a mirror taking up the whole of the internal lid and a powder well. Sadly there is no sifter or puff.
The condition is excellent throughout. The lucite is in fantastic condition and the design has stood the test of time. The mirror is perfect. The gold tone inside shows some surface scratches and a little wear. The base of the compact shows some scuffing, surface scratches and wear.
