1920s Arts & Crafts Oak 2 Drawer Bureau Desk
What a lovely looking little piece of 1920s British antique furniture. The bureau, probably a commissioned piece, is of a good quality, super design and well-constructed.
We have a lot to admire about this one – the original copper plated pressed handles, the shapely front legs, the grain and tone of the oak and the fact that we have a working lock and key.
The piece has enjoyed a sensible hand polish and clean. It sits in fine order with the writing flap opening and closing as it should, no repairs, no wobbles and the fitted inside in situ. We do have a slight crack to the back but not a concern and not seen once in place.
A charming piece of 1920s antique furniture in oak.
