Circa 1910 12" Western Electric Hawthorn Vane Oscillating Desk Fan. One Of The Most Unique Wind Powered Oscillating Fans. This Fan Oscillates By Deflecting Air Coming Off The Blade And Is Then Reversed By 2 Adjustable Stops On The Base. These Stops Can Be Moved To A Variety Of Different Locations On The Base Which Adjust The Oscillating Sweep. Or These Stops Can Be Removed For 360 Degrees Oscillation.

This Is Harder To Find Western Electric Hawthorn Badged Version Of Westinghouses Designed And Manufactured Fan. Fan Features Original Black Jappaned Finish. The Finish Is In Excellent Condition For It's Age. There Are Minimal Chips Overall But Something Appears To Have Been Spilled On The Base At Some Point. The Paint In This Area Will Not Shine So Its More Of A Flat Or Matte Tone. To Our Knowledge, All Brass Components Are Original To The Fan. The Blade Appears To Have Been Cleaned And Had That Nice Flat Cleaned Appearance. Brass Guard And Vane Appear To Be Polished And Have A Rich High Shine.

This Fan Has Been Professionally Serviced To Run And Oscillate Perfectly.
