18th.c. oak coffer with an exceptional and original carved front c.1740. Three panel lid with a moulded frame. Decorative front with beautifully carved rails, stiles and mullions, the three panels also carved with a unusual wheel motif, repeated five times on each. Panelled oak sides and rear, oak floor boards. Excellent colour and condition, some earlier repairs, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 43″, depth 21″, height 26½”.
