18thC Derby Puce Enamel Leaf Sauceboat c.1760
Very pretty mid 18th century Derby porcelain sauceboat moulded with wrapped leaves with shaped rim. A stalk handle spirals round in a loop to join the body at one side. Dainty applied flower and leaf decoration either side of the handle and a large shaped flower bud to the right side. All painted in shades of pink and puce enamels with flowers and foliage and with gilded highlights. A puce and gilded floral band runs around the rim. Unmarked.

It measures 6 7/8" (17.5cm) long, 3 3/4" (9.5cm) wide and 4 1/2" (11.5cm) high. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and very light surface wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
