18th Century Nantwich Longcase Clock
An eight day oak longcase clock by Joseph Walker of Nantwich, Cheshire. c 1790. This particular antique clock strikes on the hour. Fully serviced and overhauled. Joseph Walker is recorded as a watch and clockmaker working in Nantwich, Cheshire between 1764 and 1810. It is thought that he may have worked as a journeyman for Thomas Birchall another well-known Nantwich maker.
