18th Century mahogany bureau bookcase with a nice moulded cornice with dentil moulding, the top section having two astrigal glazed doors with three adjustable shelves inside, the bureau fall opening to reveal a lovely fitted interior with a brown leather writing surface decorated with blind and gold tooling, the fitted interior consists of a central door and either side are four drawers and two pigeon holes, as a further sign of quality the central door and the drawers are crossbanded and have fans in the corners, below the fall are four long oak lined graduated drawers with oval brass plate handles and escutcheons, standing on bracket feet. Circa 1790.
