Antique very fine quality 18th Century Dutch marquetry elbow arm or desk chair. Could also be used as a side, hall or carver chair.. Exceptional marquetry and carving.

Very heavy, solid and strong, with no loose joints. These are rare and this example is better than most. Full of age, character and charm. An elegant attractive chair with good age and patina. The shaped drop in seat has been professionally reupholstered.

Would look great in the right location!

Overall maximum dimensions: 73cmW x 55cmD x 117cmH (47cm high seat when sat on)

In good antique condition with historic knocks, marks, scratches, wear, losses, imperfections and repairs, as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture of this age. Some historic extinct woodworm holes (nothing bad) that have been treated for good measure.
