A beautifully proportioned and conveniently sized 18th century oak plank coffer or blanket box, possibly once a sword chest. With a fabulous understated form and well patinated surfaces, this piece would work beautifully at the foot of a bed or could work well in a hall or landing area.

Very good condition, all solid and in good order with some extensive and incredibly beautiful aged colour and patina.
