A beautiful joined and carved oak coffer dated from Charles II period 1660-85
In good, 'unmessed with' condition
Raised on a good length of stile with 3 pretty carved lozenge panels to front and tulip flower head pattern carving to frieze.
The molded 3 panel lid retaining original loop hinges opening to reveal a substantial storage area with original candle compartment.
