Made for the Royal Warrant Jeweler 'Hamilton & Inches'in Edinburgh as part of a limited edition, this being 289 of 362.
This is a stunning box with a great history.
The box has engine turned lid decoration, sloping sides and Art Deco corners.
The interior is Cedar wood and the bottom of the box has a leather insert.
The Hall Mark is for Birmingham 1936, the lid again has the letter M for 1936.
This box would have been used for cigarettes or could also be used to house playing cards.
Gross weight is 429gms
