Circa 1830, William IV rosewood two door cabinet. The rectangular top has wonderful rosewood veneers with excellent colour. Beneath the top is a square edge and a chamfered moulding. There is a simple apron with a half round beading which returns around the sides. Beneath this are two doors with fielded panels and a nice stylish brass escutcheon which is circular and has a working key. Inside the cabinet, the doors have been covered with Chinese paper. There is a single shelf and a tray which are both adjustable. Beneath the doors is another ogee moulding and the whole piece stands on an enclosed plinth. Good neat size and great colour.

Size 84cm high x 82cm wide x 46cm deep.
