This is a fantastic quality antique 4½ft William IV rosewood breakfast dining table, circa 1830 – 1840.

This is a fantastic quality antique 4½ft William IV rosewood breakfast dining table, circa 1830 – 1840. The table base consists of a central shaped bulb terminating in waterfall carvings on a large central base which is supported by three finely carved lion paw feet. The whole table sits three original inset brass castors. All the carvings are perfectly matched (a sign of superb craftsmanship). The top is supported on a square rosewood base which boasts a brass locking mechanism (only used on the finest tables). The rosewood veneers on the top are beautifully figured, likewise those on the table frieze. The table top features a superb colour / patination. The table seats between 5 – 8 people and is sufficiently tall enough to fit your legs underneath. It is sufficiently wide to accommodate serving dishes in the centre of the table. The table can be stored away by lifting the top up.

The table is completely original. The table features the original top, base, pedestal, legs and castors. The table boasts a fantastic colour / patination. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

Delivery to any address in mainland England & Wales is £79. For delivery to Scotland & Ireland, please email for a quote. If you wish to avoid the delivery cost, you can collect the item in person. UK Returns & Refunds
A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. The buyer is required to cover the cost of return transit – the collection cost is the same as the delivery cost. You will be given a refund (excluding the delivery and collection cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. If you decide to return the item at the point of delivery, you will only pay for the delivery cost. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.

For UK buyers, we will accept cash on collection or delivery cheque, credit card, BACS (free bank to bank transfer) or PayPal. Payment is requested within 5 days of the sale.
