A beautiful antique William IV/ Early Victorian mahogany drop leaf sewing table with 2 drawers. It has 2 drop leaves and stands on a heavy tapering central pillar on a cruciform plinth base which sits on flat bun feet, culminating in brass casters. The drawer fronts, sides and central column are of a richly figured mahogany. Of excellent quality, and in good condition it is a highly decorative piece. Would make a wonderful work/sewing table or a lamp or sofa/end table.

Good condition. Solid. General wear, marks commensurate with age. The top appears slightly out of alignment with the base in the photos but this has now been adjusted (there is a screw and nut underneath) so it is now in-line . Some small marks and scratches to the top as to be expected. Some splits in the veneer to the plinth base.
