Early 19th.c. North Wales oak cwpwrdd gwydr (glass cupboard) c.1810. Single piece with glazed display top and two shelves above a two over three chest of drawers. Lots of good original detail here moulded cornice, unusual shaped shelves, mahogany cross banded drawer fronts, turned knobs, panelled sides and an attractively shaped apron at floor level. The inlaid diamond and dot detail below the cornice is typical of antique furniture produced in the Anglesey market town of Llangefni in the early 19th.c. The glass in the doors is original, unfortunately there is a small crack to the top centre panel of the left hand door. Otherwise excellent condition, good colour, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
