Welsh Farmhouse Cricket Table c1820
A pretty early 19th Century Welsh Pine Tavern Cricket Table of desirable size and proportions. A lovely example in exceptional original condition with superb colour and grain.
Having a large flat two plank pine top supported on a base with well splayed legs and very pretty undertier. It is most comfortable to sit at and perfect for up to two people to sit, drink or dine.
It would also make a perfect kitchen table for breakfast or to read the paper at.
Cricket antique tables, along with settles are so iconic that no country cottage or farmhouse should be without one.
We purchased this wonderful cricket table from a smallholding in the foothills of the Preseli mountains above Fishguard in Pembrokeshire.
