Vintage Powder Compacts For Sale
This is a very unusual large vintage powder compact measuring over 9cm.
We have not seen this one before. It appears to be completely unused & comes complete with sifter, good quality fabric puff & watered silk pouch. The silk pouch has some age spots.
The lid is superb & flawless having being stored in the pouch. It shows a lions leaping on deer & two different types birds. Some of them look like pheonix. It is fantastical & wierd.
The lid lifts to reveal a good mirror. The compact is marked "MADE IN ENGLAND". The puff & sifter are pristine & unused. The watered silk pouch is robust. It is lined with soft cream felt.
This vintage compact mirror measures just over 9 cm.
