Gorgeous! - Iconically Art Deco, this wonderful vintage compact powder bowl is adorable. The colour is gorgeous, a mint green, standing on 3 ivorine legs with a black base. The body appears to be made of bakelite, however the top which is stunning with a wonderful patternation is edged in brass, a nice clear mirror to the base of the top. The musical mechanism is working, and it is overall very nice!. There is a small join along the base, which I dont believe to be damage and in any event does not threaten integrity - Internally it is clean, the marks are where I think the original powder sifter may have perished, Measuring c. 5.5" inch diameter, it has survived in great condition and will certainly not disappoint.
