An attractive Victorian walnut davenport with sliding top section with a red leather insert, ?decorated with gold tooling that lifts to reveal a mahogany interior having 2 small stationary drawers with tiny bun handles and a storage area idea for a laptop or tablet. Pulling the small bun handle set in the slope reveals a drawer which pulls out and hinges back to present a pen tray and an inkwell. Below both side of the sliding top are two pull out candle slides. ?There are 4 functioning mahogany lined drawers on the left hand side and 4 dummy drawers on the right both with turned bun handles, it is raised on a plinth base which hides four castors. A handsome looking piece of history that is in superb showroom condition ready for the home or office.
