Victorian period, likely Scottish, mahogany double wardrobe / compactum, Circa 1870. This compactum wardrobe features double arched panelled doors with original working lock and key. Rounded corners. Cornice top, and plinth base. Interior one half with full length hanging area with rail, over a single drawer, the other with cubby hole over 5 drawers, the top drawer being half fronted, all other drawers with feature original brass drop handles. The wardrobe splits into 4 sections, two sides with the doors, top and base. Recently restored and repolished. There is no lining to the hanging area or cubby hole, though this would have been lined at some point and could be redone.

A very handsome period compactum, ready to use.

This compactum measures approximately 203.5 cm (80") tall, 145.5 cm (57") wide, and 59 cm (23") deep.

Recently restored and very much ready to use. Some minor odd marks. Original handles, lock and key. No linings to hanging area or cubby hole.
