Victorian Rosewood writing desk dressing table
Antique quality Victorian Rosewood ladies writing desk dressing table.
This is a lovely piece, that is full of age, charm and character.
Solid with no loose joints and no significant woodworm.
Period brass and ceramic castors.
The mahogany lined drawers slide freely (some internal staining as one would expect).
There is no key and the lock is consequently untested.
An attractive quality piece.
The leather top is a later replacement with some wear and patination (also a crease, where two supporting planks meet beneath).
Quite rare and would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 92cmW x 54cmD x 107cmH (78cm high writing surface, 62.5cm high knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There is some light oxidation to the mirror. The castors have some wear as one would expect and a decorative collar is missing from one.
