Victorian Rosewood Hall / Occasional Table
This attractive small antique hall / occasional table dates from c.1860. It is constructed mainly from rosewood, some solid, some veneered over a wooden carcass and it retains a nice colour. The table has a rectangular top with rounded corners, barley twist supports and arched legs with a barley twist stretcher in between. It has a decorative finial to either side of the stretcher on the base.
Condition Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall slightly faded. There is a water mark and a heavily scratched area to the top as well as some general scratching and denting. The table is missing its castors and is missing various decorative finials, but that does not detract from its use or appearance.
The approx. measurements are as follows
Overall - 67.5cm high, 78cm wide, 46.5cm deep (to maximums). Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
