A very attractive Victorian pine blanket box/chest with iron carrying handles and corner plates, which lend a feel of campaign antique furniture. This antique pine chest has a warm mellow colour and good patination. The interior is in a very tidy and clean condition, with an earlier applied lining paper -perfect for additional storage. There is evidence some historic woodworm damage, mainly to one end. please see photo. This is a Victorian chest full of character and style, well presented and ready for the home as a charming storage piece, or antique coffee table.
