Victorian Oak Breakfront Bookcase Cabinet
Breakfront bookcase cabinet.
Late Victorian/Edwardian
Made in oak.

This is a particularly handsome breakfront bookcase. It dates to around 1900 at the end of the Victorian and the start of the Edwardian era. The bookcase cabinet is made in oak and stands on bold cabriole legs. The cabinet has four doors with astragal panes and the glass is all perfect. Inside, the shelves are all adjustable (some shelves have newer stays) and these shelves are edged in polish oak.
This is a very good quality cabinet. The condition is good. Marks to top as you would expect with period antique furniture. The doors have locks and keys.
This bookcase cabinet will look good in a home library or principal room and will look wonderful when the shelves are filled with books or objet d'art. This is a very handsome cabinet.
The bookcase cabinet is 77 inches wide and 50 inches high and 14 inches deep.
