A bold and impressive mid-Victorian period mahogany partners writing table. Very well constructed from a dense grade of quality solid mahogany and attractive mahogany veneers. The top is fitted with a sumptuous black leather writing surface with tooled decorations to the edges. There are two pairs of opposing drawers , with cock beading surrounds and fitted with mahogany bun handles. All standing on lovely turned and fluted baluster legs which terminate in their original brass caps and castors. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home or office.
