Victorian Mahogany Marble Top Desk by T. Wallace
This striking piece was originally a wash stand, however it has been used for many years as a desk
It is a Large and very heavy piece of the most superb quality, the top of the desk is one solid piece of the most superbly figured Italian Marble, the desk is made in Mahogany with carved decoration on the front and around the pedestals. The drawers are lined on Oak and Ash so as you can imagine it is very heavy, but the marble top does come off to help with moving it and it stands on bun feet casters
Each of the pedestals has a cupboard and there is a deep drawer in the centre of the desk
The desk is 49” long, 22” deep and 31” high and the knee hole is 19” wide and 21” high
