Victorian Irish Carved Writing Table
An unusual and very good quality 19th.C.Irish clover carved freestanding walnut and burr walnut desk or centre table. The unusual shaped top having a cross banded and chamfered edge with an inset hand dyed green leather writing surface which has blind and gold tooling.The conforming shaped frieze contains a wide single, mahogany lined drawer with lock and key. The stretcher base with wonderful clover leaf carving, cross stretcher and raised on cabriole legs with brass and white porcelain casters. Condition:- Very good and ready for use in the home as a writing or centre table. Dimensions:- Height…27.5’’/ 70cm. Width…48’’/ 122cm. Depth…30.5’’/ 77.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
