Antique fine quality small Victorian inlaid rosewood desk, writing or dressing table. C1880.
This is a lovely quality piece, that is full of age, charm and character. Patinated tooled leather top.
Solid with no loose joints... a very rare find. We have a key that fits all of the locks.
No woodworm.
The mahogany lined drawers slide freely. Period brass and ceramic castors.
Would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions: 100cmW x 49cmD x 73cmH (57cmH x 42.5cmW knee hole).
Good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear and imperfections, as is to be expected with antique furniture. Some historical shrinkage cracking to the panels inside the knee hole (nothing weakened and not particularly noticeable unless you get on your hands and knees to look into the knee hole).
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide a strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
