Antique 19C Victorian inlaid rosewood music display cabinet bookcase.

Quite rare and unusual with lovely proportions and styling.

Some great wood veneers have been used to good effect.

Quality construction, with rosewood veneer on a hardwood structure (mainly mahogany).

Period brass and ceramic castors (some wear).

There is no lock or key.

There are 4 fixed shelves (bottom plus 3).

This piece of antique furniture would look great in the right location and is attractive and aesthetically very pleasing, with a great sense of age and charm.

Overall dimensions 570mmW x 375mmD x 1060mmH (+95mmH gallery).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, distortion, wear, imperfections, scratches, chips, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique antique furniture and generally desirable. There is a dark patch on the top (much less noticeable in real life, than in the photos)....this is a common occurrence when rosewood is refinished. There is oxidation and imperfections in the bevel edge mirrored panels and the glazed panel is thought to be modern glass.

Give us a call if you would like any alterations done to this piece such as a lock fitted, mirrors replaced or shelves moved. We don't over charge, as after all we do want to sell the piece!
