Victorian Gothic Mahogany & Gilt Wardrobe
A very unusual late 19th century Gothic style mahogany and gilded wardrobe. With a moulded cornice above a frieze decorated with a row of arches centred by quatrefoil flowers, the two doors below featuring arched bevelled mirrors with scrolling foliage to the spandrels and flanked by lobed columns, on a plinth base raised on turned feet to the front.
This has a nicely finished interior with two short and one long drawer to the base and with shelf supports running the length of the sides so shelves could be added to compliment or replace the hanging rail which we will supply (hanging rail not shown in the photographs).
Condition
The mirrors are original and in good condition and have developed that beautiful sparkle/twinkle you only get in antique mirrors, overall good solid condition but as should be expected does have marks consistent with age & use including veneer losses and scuffs to the top and bottom edges of the doors, veneer losses to back legs, a chip out the top back corner on the right side and the bottom front and back corners on the left side.
Please feel free to contact me for more photos, remember to include you email address.
The overall dimensions at the largest points are approximately

Width - 60in (152cm)
Depth - 24 1/2in (62cm)
Height - 94 1/2in (240cm)

We cannot describe each marks separately and therefore suggest you do take the time to request extra photos. We do offer a 14 day money back guarantee for UK purchases but cannot refund the return shipping cost.
