A fine quality mid-Victorian pier, or display cabinet. Of good construction with stunning rosewood veneers onto a solid oak carcass. The veneers are striking and have a great colour and depth of patina. This cabinet is unusual in that its side panels are also in glass. To the front the single glazed door opens to access a shelved and lined interior display space. The whole cabinet is well decorated with good crisp brass ormolu mounts. This attractive display cabinet is offered for sale in excellent condition.
