A superbly carved Victorian Oak wind out extending Gothic oak dining Table
This is a very sturdy and Heavy table both the top and the legs are solid Oak. The table extends by means of a winding mechanism that opens the table in the centre and the leaf can be inserted.
The table top is 2” thick solid oak, it has a carved bobbin style border, the legs which are 5” across are carved with leaves and at the top of each leg there are 2 mask carvings of a Face either of a Lion or the Green Man and it has ceramic casters on the feet.
The table is sound and looks fine there are some feint stains visible on the table top but not very noticeable and it comes with its original winding handle and leaf. The table has a makers Plaque underneath SELBAT dining antique tables.
This very attractive piece is 48”wide and 58” long, it is 29” high and 23” under knee height, When extended it is 76” long
