Victorian Art Nouveau 4 Poster Double Brass Bed

This very pretty Victorian bed it dates from around 1880 it is has a charming Brass head board, the Art Nouveau central panel is decorated with grapes and vines all made and cast in solid Brass, on either side of this there are tall posts at each side topped off with a chunky bed knob

The foot end of the bed is less elaborate, it too has matching tall bed posts, at the centre sturdy upright rails decorated with brass turnings
The bed has a brass curtain rail running all around the top of the bed ready for Drapes of your own choice
All in all a very attractive bed timeless in design it will go very well in a Victorian designed bed room or in a more modern Minimalist setting
The bed has been fully restored and To use the bed you can either put a divan and mattress on top of the side irons or we can supply a new slatted pine base and your mattress can sit on top of this
The bed posts are 81”, the bed is 55” wide and 84” long, it takes a standard 4ft 6” double mattress
