Antique Aesthetic Victorian 19C inlaid sofa settee.
Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.
Mixed wood construction involving walnut, beech and show wood.
Very decorative and a little bit different. The attractive inlays set this sofa apart from the norm.
The upholstery is old, has some wear and marks, although it is usable....some would want to redo. We have not inspected concealed components, although there is a sprung seat (quite soft) without any major lumps and bumps. There are historic repairs to the feet and castors (worn and may be not be original).
Overall maximum dimensions
125cmW x 63mmD x 81cmH (40cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historical repairs, as is the norm, but all is solid now. There are historic woodworm holes, that we believe are extinct and have treated for good measure.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
