Unusual Victorian Owl Ink Well
An unusual mid Victorian cast brass ink well with decorative owl perched on the lid c.1875. The wide cast brass base with ornate scrolled decoration sat on small feet. Circular ink well above with superbly cast owl perched on the top. Opens to reveal an original porcelain ink well. Heavy quality, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 10.5" diameter x 7" high. Stock number 37019.
