Unusual Oak 19th C Gothic Cabinet on Stand
A unusual oak early 19th Century Gothic cabinet on stand. This very attractive and unusual cabinet on stand dating to the early 19th Century is constructed of solid oak have a rectangular top with carved and moulded edge over two Gothic style carved doors with fielded panels to the center and flanking either side. Having an ornately carved Gothic frieze with the whole being raised on fabulously carved cabriole front legs with carved faces to the knee and terminating on hairy hoofed foot.
In the style of Pugin this fabulously carved cabinet stands beautifully on it base with a great colour.
Offered in very good condition having been restored using traditional waxing methods this cabinet will make a fine additional to any home.
