Unusual 1930s Art Deco Laco wrist watch
Unusual 1930s Art Deco Laco wrist watch.
The watch has a 16-jewel Laco calibre 526 hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 25mm wide (at the widest point but excluding the winding crown) and 33mm high excluding the lugs. Originally the watch was designed to be worn by a man but it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is stainless steel and is signed inside the hinged case back with the Laco name. The case is in good condition, just some unevenness to the case back.
The lens looks good to the naked eye, some light marking if you look closely. There is some reflection showing in the photos.
The signed dial is in its original finish, an interesting design with concentric circles to the centre. There is some marking and age related darkening but it has a charming appearance.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
