Trunk chests 2 Victorian Sir Alfred Gooch c1880

Here we have two qulity Victorian metal trunks with great provenance c1880. As you can see the trunks have lovely colour and patina. One trunk has a working original Hobbs and Co lock with key. Both trunks relate to Sir Alfred Gooch Bart (Baronet) of the famous Beacre Hall Suffolk. The trunks are in excellent retail condition. The largest is 91 cm wide x 40 cm high x 40 cm high. The other 65 cm wide 46 cm deep 40 cm high.
When Sir Alfred Sherlock Gooch 9th Baronet was born on 25 December 1851, in Southwold, Suffolk, England, United Kingdom, his father, Sir Edward Sherlock Gooch 6th Baronet, was 49 and his mother, Harriet Hope-Vere, was 34. He married Alice Elizabeth Williams on 22 May 1880, in Plymouth, Devon, England, United Kingdom. They were the parents of at least 1 son. He lived in West Looe, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom in 1881 and Beoley, Worcestershire, England, United Kingdom in 1891. He died on 24 February 1899, in Suffolk, England, United Kingdom, at the age of 47, and was buried in Benacre, Suffolk, England, United Kingdom.
