Tambour Fronted Filing Cabinet
An oak tambour fronted filing cabinet of good quality, having an ornate brass key escutcheon with working key and the fall front having brass inverted handles and bearing the distributor's label "The Miscellaneous Disposals Syndicate Ltd, 41, St. James's Square, London, W.11.". The company traded under this name from 1920 to 1940. Inside, the cabinet has nine drawers, each with a brass plate with the facility to slide in a name card. The tambour front works well and overall the cabinet is in very good condition, with only the usual marks associated with age and useage.
