Here we have a wonderful original Charles II Oak table c1680. As you can see the table has fantastic colour and patina. There is a three plank top with lovely grain, colour and a thumb moulded edge. The top is pegged to the base with the pegs being proud of the surface. There is a shallow frieze with reeded moulding which extends to the drawer front. The drawers retains the original handles and is of simple nailed construction. The legs are beautifully turned and typical of the period. There are stretchers on all four sides and original feet. The table is of pegged mortice and tenon construction thorughout as you would expect. A super period table in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 30.5 inches wide 28 high and 19 deep.
