Swiss Pocket Watch, English Silver Case c1930

A good, gentleman's Swiss made, sterling silver cased Pocket Watch dating from c1930 retailed by J Schuler & Sons Ltd, 127 City Road, London.
This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order.
The English made, sterling silver case is in good condition, both closing covers opening and closing tightly as they should. It has full English hallmarks for sterling silver. The maker's mark "ALD" for Aaron Lufkin Dennison, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the anchor Birmingham town mark and the date letter "F" for 1930/31. Also stamped with the case maker's name, Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd. The rear of the case with engine turned engraving and a central cartouche that is free of initials.
The white enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed Swiss Made and has the retailer's name J Schuler & Sons Ltd, 127 City Road, London.
The good quality, Swiss made, DF&C Selex, 15 jewel movement is in excellent working order.
The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown).
