A superb quality, circa 1900, arts & crafts influenced double bed. With its decoratively carved headboard, with slatted design, centre slat featuring a traditional tulip design. This is a mirror image of the footboard. The bed comes complete with a traditional sprung base, so all that is required is a standard double mattress. As you can see by the measurements listed, the headboard is quite tall, making this an impressive piece of antique furniture for any period property. The item is in overall good condition, and still retains its original castors to base. You must appreciate that it does have some slight marks and wear and tear due to its age. The bed breaks down into individual pieces for ease of transportation and reassembly.
