Superb set of six Regency period dining chairs in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster c.1810. Solid rosewood frames with carved decoration to the back rest featuring athemion detail to the centre of the cresting rail and a carved and pierced back stretcher. Freshly re-upholstered seat pad raised on particularly good turned, tapering and reeded Gillows style front legs. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
Dimensions width 17½”, height 19″, depth 32″.
