Silver wire work sugar tongs. Early 19thc 1803.
A pair of Georgian silver wire work sugar tongs. There are two marks stamped on the edge of the silver- one is a crown over the letter F ( Sheffield 1803? ) and a distorted mark which could be the assay or the maker's mark.
There is an engraved name plate at the top- ML.
There's one break in the wire but the pattern is still attached to the frame and there are no gaps.
