This is a top quality silver plated right handed Hot Chocolate Pot that dates to around the 1950s. It is the classic Chocolate Pot design with the handle being at right angles to the spout. Because of this design they are made in both right handed and left handed versions and this one is for right handers. It was made for high end retailer Maple & Co.

Overall condition is very good with no plate loss and just a tiny ding to the body of pot and a couple of minor surface scratches. The finial and handle are both in good condition with just the most minimal signs of wear. This is certainly a Chocolate Pot that's been used but also well looked after.

The pot is 17cm high to the top of the finial, 7.9cm in diameter across the base and the handle extends just under 10cm from the body of the pot to the side. It weighs 399g. It is a 3/4 pint size.

The marks on the base are Maple & Co Ltd, for the retailer. Warranted Hard Soldered, proving its quality and Made In England.
