Fabulous mid 19th.c. pine and mahogany shop counter with drawers c.1880. Impressive inch thick single piece mahogany counter top with a rounded edge over four large drawers with original paintwork and ebonised turned knobs. Original wear to the top typical of age and a couple of repairs to the rear corners. Otherwise excellent condition with smooth running drawers. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. With interesting paper labels inside three of the drawers which suggest they were perhaps originally used for cloth samples or similar. Ideal as a kitchen piece.
